Embedded
Software Engineer:
Software Embedded
Development Engineer with general knowledge of industry practices
and standards as applied to medical device regulations. Seeking
proactive individual with proven ability in design and development
of embedded software. 7 to 10 years work experience with BS in
Computer Science or Electrical Engineering; 5 years experience in
embedded OS. Salary commensurate with experience.
Required Skills:
 |
Strong
problem solving and analytical skills for the development of
well structured, maintainable designs. |
|
|
Design,
port and integration of real time operating systems to
include task creation and scheduling, inter-process
communication, preemptive multitasking algorithms and memory
mapping.
|
|
|
Previous
experience with interrupt based device drivers or
Micrium
µC/OS-II preferred. |
|
|
Programming skills: strong C \C++ and.Net skills
(particularly with multi-treading and sockets) |
|
|
Embedded
software experience which includes: bootloading, 12C, SPI,
ARM9 via IAR, TMS32028xx family DSP. |
|
|
Execute
the tasks of requirements development, design, coding and
testing following development processes. |
|
|
Strong
documentation skills and excellent interpersonal and
communication skills. |
|
|
Needs to
prioritize and perform multiple tasks in a dynamic
environment. |
|
|
Able to
work independently within a team structure. |
|
|
Good
organizational and recordkeeping skills required. |
