AEV Portable Ventilator

Ventilation devices are used by patients who have impaired lung function due to complications from various diseases, such as spinal cord injuries, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, stroke, pneumonia and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. In addition to the actual most debilitating situation for a person, patients, as a rule, have to use several devices that perform mechanical ventilation of the lungs, delivery of oxygen, help with coughing, mucus suction and nebulization (inhalation). This usually involves running wires all over the place, and lots of software and hardware that make it difficult for caregivers to work and make it difficult to provide quality care.

AEV com simplifies this process by offering an integrated ventilation system, which is the first and only product on the market to use a single ventilator for all of the above functions. This is a portable device that replaces the ventilator, oxygen concentrator, cough aid, suction and nebulizer, which automatically synchronizes with the flows from the ventilator and turns off at the end of therapy. This integration simplifies care, reduces the burden on service personnel and supports the daily mobility of AEV users and their families. With AEV, families can easily leave their homes to travel.

Each AEV therapy is delivered with characteristics typically found in hospital equipment. The device functionality is designed as well or better than the standalone devices it replaces. In addition, such a handheld device accelerates the discharge of patients from the hospital and provides them with access to life-saving technology from hospital to home.

AEV provides care benefits, economic benefits and quality of life that were inconceivable with traditional equipment, including increased mobility for patients and caregivers, reduced noise levels, increased patient options and comfort, and improved patient compliance treatment.

AEV also reduces the risk of infection by reducing the need to shut off the patient circuit when switching between therapies that expose the airway to the potential for bacterial contamination. AEV users can seamlessly transition between therapies at the push of a button without having to disconnect the system from the patient. Minimizing patient shutdowns has been shown to reduce the risk of infection and pneumonia associated with the ventilation system.
