In response to the many inquires weve received
regarding the use of filters with Impact products, we can provide you with
the following information:

Many filter products are available and most are
capable of attachment to the Impact family of aspirator and ventilator
products. To date, none of these filters have been represented
by their manufacturers as being effective against the SARS virus.
Accordingly, Impact will make no specific recommendation regarding their
efficacy beyond those representations already made by their respective
manufacturers.

Our engineering staff has tested the filter types
listed in the tables below. This allows us to determine their effect
upon the performance of our products and in turn gives our users
necessary information should the filters effect upon product
performance be of concern to them.

On behalf of our customers, Impact will accept
filter products for test as was done below. We will test these filters
only if theyre provided in unused condition, clearly labeled/marked,
and contained within their original packaging. The results of our tests
will be added to the tables below.

Given the uncertainty of stocking requirements and
customer need, Impact will not inventory these filters. Filters should
be purchased from the respective manufacturer or through its authorized
dealer(s).
